Use your text tool to create a large title that you would like to make 3d.

Once you have chosen some text, go to Text > Convert to Paths.

A new properties menu will show up, with a gradient option. Click on the dropdown menu entitled "solid" and change it to Gradient > Linear.

Change the colors of your gradient by clicking on the small icons beside the gradient preview. Change the left to white, and the right to a medium gray.

Click the + sign on your properties window, and choose Bevel and Emboss > Outer Bevel. Choose a height of 2

Next we are going to give our text some perspective. Us your skew tool to drag the top portion of your text into the background.

Your image should look something like mine.

Hold Ctrl + Alt, and press the up arrow key. This will duplicate your layer slightly above your original layer. Keep doing this over and over again until your text is at your desired Height. here is how mine turned out!
