Step 1: Create a new Document in Flash at any size (mine is 550 x 400)

Step 2: Now create the shape or picture you want to be following the path, I've just used a circle... now make it a movieclip (select it and press F8).. Name it what ever you want...

Step 3: Right click on the layer with your Movie clip and choose "Add Motion Guide"

Step 4: Click on the new Layer named "Guide: Layer1" and get the pen tool... now draw your Path.. (if you find the Pen tool a little awkward, make a line with the line tool and then hover you arrow over it.. there should be a little semi-circle appear next to your cursor.. now drag the line to make it bend and stuff)...

Step 5: Go to frame 100 (or whatever frame you want) while in "Guide: layer1", right click and choose insert frame... Now, right click on frame 100 on "Layer1" and choose Insert Keyframe...

Step 6:. Go all the way back to frame 1 and move you Movie clip over the starting point of the Path so that the little circle is right at the start...

Step 7: Now go all the way back to frame 100 and move the Movieclip so that the little circle is over the End point of the Path...

Step 8:Now right click anyframe in-between frame 1 and 100 on "Layer1" and choose "Create Motion Tween" and you should end up with this ..
