Using this lesson, You will see how to create simple, but in the same time very modern text animation which you can use for any flash header, presentation, animation... You don't have to use action script code to make this lesson.

    Step 1

Create a new flash document. Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the dimensions of your document as whatever you like. Select any color as background color.Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 26 and click ok.

    Step 2

Take the Text Tool (A), choose any font and size and type some text beside the stage. See the picture below.

    Step 4

Press Esc key on the keyboard to deselect the letters. Then, take the Selection Tool (V) and select only the first letter (in my example it is letter "t"). See the picture below.

    Step 5

After that, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert that letter into a Graphic Symbol. See the picture below.

    Step 7

Press Ctrl+A key (Select All) to select all letters (Graphic symbols).

Then, choose Modify > Timeline > Distribute to Layers (Shortcut key: Ctrl+Shift+D key). Now, you have placed every letter in separated layer. See the picture below.

Take again the Selection Tool (V), select the text layer and delete it, becaouse it is needless now.

    Step 9

Click on frame 10 of layer of the first letter (in my example letter "t") and press F6 key. See the picture below. After that, move the first letter on the stage, using the mouse or by arrows key. See the picture below.

    Step 10

After that, click on frame 15 and press F5 key.

    Step 11

Click on frame 5 and 15 of layer of the second letter (in my example letter "o") and press F6 key.

    Step 12

While you're still on frame 15, move the second letter on the stage. See the picture below.

    Step 13

Choose again right-click anywhere on the gray area between the frame 5 and frame 15 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.

Repeat this process until you don't came to the last letter.

    Step 14

After that, click for every letter at the last frame F6 key. See the picture below.

    Step 15

Click after that then frame after and press F6 key. See the picture below.

Then, take the Free Transform Tool (Q), press and hold down Shift key and do the following.

    Step 16

Choose again right-click anywhere on the gray area between the last two frames for every letter and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.

    Step 17

Click five frame after of the first letter and press again F6 key. Then, move the first letter beside the stage. See the picture below.

    Step 18

Choose again right-click anywhere on the gray area between the last two frames of the first letter and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.See the picture below.
