    In this thoroughly explained, detailed lesson, I will show you how to create a really advanced and trendy, frame by frame arrow animation with sound. You don't have to use action script code to make this lesson! This very advanced and modern animation you can use for any web site, for any presentation, flash banner, header... Using this lesson, you will also learn how to draw arrows, how to animate it using frame by frame, how to import any sound file into a flash library and after that into a flash stage and much, much more! Let's start!

    Example:

     

    Step 1

    Start flash. Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the width of your document to 400 pixels and the height to 300 pixels. Select white as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 30 and click ok.



    Step 2

    Call the current layer arrows. Double-click on its default name (Layer 1) to change it. Press Enter once you have typed in the new name!

    Step 3

    Select the first frame, Take the Line Tool (N), for line color choose white and draw a shape like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 4

    After that, place that shape on the position like it is shwon on the picture below!



    Step 5

    Take now the Paint Bucket Tool (K) and paint shape in white color.



    Step 6

    Select now frame 2 and press F7 key (Blank keyframe). After that, select again Line Tool (N) and draw a shape like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 7

    Paint now that shape in white and place it on the position of flash stage like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 8

    Select now frame 3 and press F7 key. After that, using the Line Tool (N) and Paint Bucket Tool (K), draw and paint this part of arrow and place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 9

    Select now frame 4 and press F7 key. After that, using the Line Tool (N) and Paint Bucket Tool (K), draw and paint this part of arrow and place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 10

    Select now frame 5 and press F7 key. After that draw and paint this part of arrow and place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 11

    Select now frame 6 and press F7 key. After that draw and paint this part of arrow and place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 12

    Select now frame 7 and press F7 key. After that draw and paint this part of arrow and place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 13

    Select now frame 8 and press F7 key. After that draw and paint this part of arrow and place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 14

    Select now frame 9 and press F7 key. After that draw and paint this part of arrow and place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 15

    Select now frame 10 and press F7 key. After that draw and paint this part of arrow and place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 16

    Select now frame 11 and press F7 key. After that draw and paint this part of arrow and place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 17

    Select now frame 12 and press F7 key. After that draw and paint this part of arrow and place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 18

    Select now frame 13 and press F7 key. After that draw and paint this part of arrow and place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 19

    Select now frame 14 and press F7 key. After that draw and paint this part of arrow and place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 20

    Select now frame 15 and press F7 key. After that draw and paint this part of arrow and place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 21

    Select now frame 16 and press F7 key. After that draw and paint this part of arrow and place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



    Step 22

    It's time for sound, so create a new layer above the layer arrows and name it sound.

    Step 23

    Download now my example file (fla) at the end of tutorial and open it into a flash. After that, open my flash library (Ctrl+L), find my sound file, select it and press Ctrl+C key (Copy). After that, go back on the flash stage of lesson, select sound layer and press Ctrl+V key (Paste).



    That's it!
