How to turn a straight line into a curve using the selection tool:

• In the tool bar click on the "Sub-selection Tool" icon.
• On the stage left click on the curve to highlight the points.
• Hover over a chosen point, when the cursor turns into a filled square left click to select that specific point.
• Press the "Delete" key.
