In this basic flash lesson, you will see how to create on a very, very simple and quickly way, a cool photo animation. This lesson is for flash beginners. You don't have to use action script code to make this lesson. Using this lesson, you will also learn how to import any photo into a flash stage, how to use Free Transform Tool and much more! You can use this animation for some simple photo presentation, some flash header, banner. Let's go!

Step 1

Find any photo that you want to use for this lesson!

Step 2

Create a new flash document. Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the dimensions of your document, as the dimensions of photo. Select any color as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 28 and click ok.



Step 3

Choose now, file > Import > Import to stage (Shortcut key: Ctrl+R) and import a photo into a flash stage!

Step 4

While the photo is still selected, go to the Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and do the following:

1. Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on,
2. Click on the Align horizontal center button and
3. Click the Align vertical center button.



Step 5

Click now on frame 10 and 20 and press F6 key.

Step 6

Go back now on the first frame, take the Free Transform Tool (Q), press and hold down Shift key and do like it is shown on the picture below!



Step 7

After that, place that shape of photo on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



Step 8

Select now again frame 1 and press Ctrl+C key (Copy). After that, select frame 10 and press Delete key on the keyboard. Then, press Ctrl+Shift+V key (Paste in Place). Place now that shape of photo on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



Step 9

Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 1 and 10 and frame 10 and 20 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears. See the picture below!
