--If text:
1) After creating the text that you'd like fade in (or out), then go to the 15th frame, and insert a KeyFrame. (The longer of zooming you'd like, the more frames, and vise versa for faster.)
2)After you created your text, have it selected and hit CTRL + B two times. (Apple + B on MAC's)
3) Go to the last Frame, change the font size.
Repeat step 2
4) Go back to first frame, and tween it as Shape Tween
Viola! Surprisingly simple huh?
Now, if you'd like to fade out.
Just start with big text, and on the last frame, as small as you'd like!

If you'd like to learn how to zoom with objects, go to the next page.
If you'd like to ask me a question, go to page 3.
1) After creating the object that you'd like to fade in (or out)go to the next page for Zooming with objects then go to the 15th frame, and insert a KeyFrame. (The longer of zooming you'd like, the more frames, and vise-versa for faster zooming.)
2) At the 15th frame, change the size of the object.
3) Go back to first frame, and tween it as Shape Tween.
Now you're done!
What if I'd like to have more than one text/object zooming at a time?
One word: Layers!
Just do the same steps up above, just different shapes/text on different layers.
