    Electromagnetic Shock

    1. Create a new image: 400x400 pixels, with a background Transparent and a resolution of 72. Name the layer "reg".

    2. Go to Filter > Render > Clouds.

    3. Go to Filter > Render > Difference Clouds. Press CTRL + F three times.

    4. Go to Filter > Stylize > Extrude with the following proporties: Type- Blocks, Size- 2 pixels, Depth- 50 Level Based, Solid Front Faces- Checked, Mask Incomplete Blocks- Unchecked.

    5. Press CTRL + L to bring up the Lighting Effects Window. Make the settings: Input Levels- 50, 1.00, 200, Output Levels- 0, 255.

    6. Duplicate the layer "reg". Name this one "invert".

    7. Go to layer "invert", and invert it by pressing CTRL + I.

    8. While on the layer "invert", go to Blending Options, and set it to Darken.

    9. While on layer "invert" press SHIFT + CTRL + E to merge the layers (visibly).

    10. Go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation with the settings: Colorized- Checked, Hue- 150, Saturation- 25, Lightness- 0.

    11. Go to Filter > Stylize > Glowing Edges with the following settings: Edge Width- 2, Edge Brightness- 6, Smoothness- 5.

    12. Press CTRL + L to open Lighting Effects. Use settings: Input levels- 20, 1.00, 80, Output Levels- 0, 225.

    13. Duplicate Layer "invert" and call it "blast".

    14. Go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation with the settings: Colorized- Checked, Hue- 0, Saturation- 25, Lightness- 0.

    15. While on layer "blast" go to Blending Options. Set it to Screen.

    16. Press CTRL + I to invert the layer.

    17. Go to Filter > Stylize > Extrude with the settings: Type- Blocks, Size- 2 pixels, Depth- 50 Level Based, Solid Front Faces- Checked, Mask Incomplete Blocks- Unchecked.

    18. Press CTRL + I to Invert the layer again.

    19. Add a layer mask onto layer "invert".

    20. Select the Gradient tool. Set the settings to: Radial Gradient, Mode- Normal, Opacity- 100%, Reverse- Unchecked, Dither- Checked, Transparency- Checked.

    21. Make a gradient from the center of the image to the bottom-middle edge of the image. The Gradient (on the layer mask) should look like a black circle on a white background.

    22. You are done. Your image should look something like this:
