    Step 1:

Let’s start out by creating a new file. I used a 800×800 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with a #43087C color shade. Now duplicate your background layer, under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Gradient Overlay blending option.

    Result:

    Step 2:

Select the Pen Tool, above your screen under the options palette choose Paths. Then make the same paths shown below on the corner of your canvas.

    Step 3:

Now create a new layer and set your foreground color to white color shade. Then right click on your canvas and choose Fill Path, leave the settings on default.

    Step 4:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow and Gradient Overlay blending options to your white shape layer. Then set the layer’s blending mode to Darken.

    Result:

    Step 5:

Now just duplicate the design and position it as shown below, set the opacity level of each duplicated layer down so the design fades into the corner.

    Step 6:

Add more designs until you have a perfect fade on the corner.

    Results:

    Purple Wave Abstract Design.
