1) open up a new document and set the dimensions to  250 by 250 pixels and at 72 d.p.i  > color mode r.g.b


2) Selects rounded rectangle tool > corner radius of 10px  and draw a square filling up near enough the whole page. Fill with any color you like

3) Name this layer "bdrop". Open up its layer properies and give it this gradient, now with the gradient option box still selected, use the move tool and position the gradient up a little bit so its not dead center.




Now choose "drop shadow and lower the opacity to 40%

4) Select Custom shape tool, and then the Info Icon Shape from the top menu, and then draw one inside the back drop and call the layer Info fill in any color you like.



5) Select the Info layers, blending options and apply these settings. You can down laod this gradient here or in the Info Icon Source Pack. You dont have to be precise, just have a play around.

6) Next apply an inner shadow and set the distance to 1px

7) Now flatten the layer
