Create a unique shiny gunmetal button with glowing text in Photoshop like the one below.
Step 1: Create your CanvasFirst, create your canvas and fill it with a dark grey colour. We have gone for #535353.
Step 2: Create a Rounded Box
Create a new layer and select the 'Rounded Rectangle Tool'. Create a rounded box with a pretty large radius for the corners and fill it with any colour.
Step 3: Add Styling to the Rounded BoxNow it's time to add a bit of styling to that box. Open up the Layer Style window for the rounded box and apply the following styles (they may need some slight adjustments depending on the size of your box):
Drop Shadow:
Blend Mode: Multiply [black]
Opacity: 37%
Angle: 90%
Check 'Use Global Light'
Distance: 3px
Spread: 0%
Size: 6px
Bevel and Emboss:
Style: Inner Bevel
Techinque: Smooth
Depth: 100%
Direction: Up
Size: 0px
Soften: 0px
Angle: 90 degrees
Altitude: 90 degress
Gradient:
Stop 1: Location: 0%, Colour: #494949
Stop 2: Location: 50%, Colour: #B1B1B1
Stop 3: Location: 51%, Colour: #C5C5C5
Stop 4: Location: 100%, Colour: #676565
Step 4: Add Some TextNow it's time to add your text to this button. I suggest using a rather thick font. You can get some great fonts at dafont.com.
Step 5: Add Styling to the TextLet's add some glow to that text. Open up your layer style for the text layer and apply the following style. Again, these styles may need to be tweaked a little depending on the size of your text and the colour you want.

Angle: 90%
Distance: 0px

Outer Glow:
Blend Mode: Screen
