Before start designing poster you have to do some brain storming about your poster design which mean think some question in your mind e.g what would be the best color grading for your movie poster?. choosing font? do some research, gather resources for your movie poster and you should have good photo collection indeed. So These are key tips for making Professional Looking Movie Poster.

Part 01 First Block
Create new document size 27 inch width and 37 inch height, 72 dpi, name this document crank poster. and make new layer and fill with color value = FF9900 and leave this poster document open for later use.

First I composited two separate photos to one image.

To make this open first photo and use pen tool for cropping.

Put this crop image above second photo Use eraser tool right click anywhere on picture and change the hardness value to 34% and master diameter to 200 px value to composite with second image erase top image from sides to merge with below image.

Then top image blending mood change to color burn.

Duplicate second image and change blending mood to overlay.

Duplicate this overlay second image and move little further erase image except character head for making that character looking blurry for color grading make new layer and fill with color value = FF9900 blend this color layer to overlay.

For color grading make new layer and fill with color value = FF9900 blend this color layer to overlay. Now you have your high voltage design with your character is ready. Select all layers in your layer palettes and press CTR+E on keyboard to merge this composite… move this composite image to your Poster document. and place this image in upper position or block on your crank poster. Now write your movie title and tag line.

Part 02 second block

Crop your image

For making electric shock effect on my character use these below setting on crop image. duplicate your motion blur image two time use blend mood to linear dodge for first duplicate and and lighten for second.

Part 03 second block
Make "release date of movie" by simple technique and put it in center of your second block blend some image in this block.

Make new layer and move this new layer to just above background layer. Put cloud filter on it and change blend mode to overlay this layer should be above your background layer.

In the last credit block use movie font which you can find free on internet and see my order for credits.
