
1. Open your image in Photoshop. Right click on the background layer on the layers palette and select duplicate.
2. Use your elliptical marquee tool set to a fixed size of of 175 wide by 175 high. Click on your canvas. Grab the Center of this selection using the eliptical marquee and center it. Click the Add layer mask button on the bottom of the layers pallete.

3. Insert anew layer. Hit your D key to set default colors. Click Layer=>New Fill layer=>gradient. Set the gradient to
- black to transparent,
- Reflected, 100%,
- reverse
- align with layer
Draw the gradient from the center of the elliptical marquee selection to the lower right site.
4. Right click on the mask for the gradient layer and set selection to layer mask. Click Edit=>paste into.
5. Click Filter=>render=>Lens Flare. set the flare to:
- brightness=115%
- flare center on left of orb
- lens type = 35 nm prime
6. Click Filter=> distort=> twirl. Set the twirl to
- angle = 180
7. Click Filter=> distort=> Spherize. Set the spherize to
- 100%
- normal mode
8. Click Layer=> Group with previous.
