Here is what we wre going to do in this tutorial:
Step 1
Open image which you would like to apply effect to
Step 2
Then select the whole image by pressing Ctrl + A
Step 3
Then delete the layer by pressing delete key
Step 4
Now get your hand on the history brush
Step 5
Pick up the Dry media brush from top of the screen
Step 6
Then start paintig with variation in strokes and brush sizes
Step 7
Step 8
You can try using another brushes for different results
