In this tutorial, we will walk through a step-by-step of how to create a stylish red text effect. This is a nice effect to use if you are dealing with red tone themes in your design projects. The variations of tone on the inside of the text helps to give some balance to surrounding graphics

Step 1:

Let抯 start out by creating a new file. I used a 500?00 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with white. Now select the Horizontal Type Tool then set the font family to Bauhaus 93, regular, 110 pt, smooth and #E70021 color shade. In a new text layer type your name on the canvas.

Step 2:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Outer Glow, Inner Glow and Gradient overlay blending options to your red text layer.

Step 3:

In a new text layer type out your name again in white color.

Step 4:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Glow, Satin and Pattern Overlay blending options to your white text layer. Then set the layer's blending mode to Darken.
