As usual I will create a new document with the following size: 960×900 pixels and with the following color on the background: #167cb7
I will select Rectangle Tool, and I will set the foreground color to #c5a165, and I will create a shape on the bottom of the travel layout.

I will right click on the shape and I will choose Rasterize layer, then I will go to Filter > Noise > Add noise. I will create a sand effect using the noise function from Photoshop.

Right above this layer I will add a stock image with some waves.

Then you can add another stock image with water. This image is computer generated, but I am sure you can find a lot of images over the internet with great sunsets. You can take some parts from that image and you can manipulate until you have a nice effect.

Right above this image with water I will add another image with some clouds.
You can download this set of clouds images, or clouds brushes

I will use another image with a nice piece of grass. You can find similar images in vista wallpapers.

Make sure you have this layer selected in your layer palette, then click on CTRL+J to make a copy. Move the duplicate layer to the left.

Duplicate it one more time and place it to the left

I will use some rock images from this set: Rock-Concrete Stock Images
I have used several images to create this effect. What I am trying to achieve is to make a base for the grass. I want to create an island on the water.

I will add an image with a lighthouse on the right side of the layout.

Around this lighthouse I will add some images with gulls.

On the left side I will add a image with a sailing ship, and I will add a simple text logo.

Right under the lighthouse image I will create two shapes with Rectangle Tool.

For the red shape I will add the following layer styles.

And for the white shape I will add the following layer styles.

This is my result

I will add on this box some text, and some html elements (forms, radio buttons, and drop down menus)

I will add more text over my travel layout. Please click on the following image to see the full size layout.

I will download the following set of vectors : Vector ink drawings
I will open the eps file in Photoshop, then I will use Rectangular Marquee Tool to draw a selection around one vector ink drawing.

After you have the selection press on CTRL+J (this shortcut will create a new layer via cut). Select Move Tool, and drag this new layer to the travel layout document. Please note that you need to see both documents if you want to drag from one document to another.
Place this layer like in the following image

Then change the blending mode for this layer to Difference

This is my final travel layout.
