Hello friend today I will show how create a 3dsmax 3d Hat model tutorial.
I have used following techniques shown below in this 3ds max tutorial.
[1]-First of all you will press (ctrl +N) now you will see the new window is open
Click on the cylinder button and create a cylinder with the following size
(Radius: 52.0) (Height: 4.8)


[2]-Select the cylinder and convert into the Editable Poly
Select the Polygon mode![]()

[3]-Pick the (Circular Selection Region) tool and make a selection
Apply the Extrude Polygons with the (Extrusion Amount: 20.0)![]()


[4]-Your object should like this
[5]-Select the Edge mode and select the Edges like this in the front view port

[6]-Apply the Chamfer Edges with the (chamfer Amount: 0.34)
Now your edges should like this

[7]-Apply the FFD 4×4x4 Modifier and select the Control Point
Now drag the Control Points like this


[8]-Now apply the Shell Modifier with the (Outer Amount: 1.0)
Your object should like this

[9]-Create a tube and set like this

[10]-Now paste the FFD 4×4x4 Modifier to the tube

[11]-Open the material window and make a material like this

[12]-Now add some light effect now final should like this
