Here I will tell you about 3dsmax 3d SSS fast material effect tutorial.
[1]-First of all you will press (ctrl +N) now you will see the new window is open
Click on the Geometry > Standard primitives > Plane
Create a Plane in the top view and set like this in the perspective view

[2]-Click on the Geometry > Standard primitives > Teapot
Use the following setting create a teapot in the top view
Set like this in the top view


[3]-Now click on the Light > Standard > Omni
Use the following setting

[4]-Set the light like this in the left view
[5]-Click on the Render Scene Dialog you will see the Render window is open then open Assign Renderer > click
On the Production button and select the Mental Ray click ok![]()


[6]-Open the Material window
Select the Empty material slot then click on the
Standard Button > SSS Fast Material (mi)![]()

[7]-Now click on the Ambient/Extra light map button put the DGS Material (3dsmax)
Then use the following setting


[8]-Open the SSS Fast Material parameter then use the following setting

[9]-your material should like this
[10]-Now click on the diffuse map select bitmap option
Then pick the jpg like this


[11]-Open map parameter set the tiling 20/20 then your material should like this
Now the material to the plane

[12]-After assign the material press (F9) and you will see the final is ready
Save the file in your folder
