| This tutorial exercise provides step by step instructions to create a solid body using revolve option, by revolving a closed object around an axis of revolution. |
| 1) Create a closed object as shown in Figure 1. {See Polyline ¨C Tutorial for beginners to learn how the closed object was made.} |

| 2) Now select ¡°Revolve¡± tool from toolbar or from menu bar or type ¡°revolve¡± in command line as shown in figure 2, figure 3 and figure 4 respectively. |

| 3) When revolve tool is selected you will be prompted to select objects as shown in Figure 5. |

| 4) Now just click the closed object to select it, as shown in Figure 6. |

| 5) After selecting the closed object right click the mouse where you would be asked to ¡°Specify start point for axis of revolution or define axis by¡± as shown in Figure 7. |

| 6) Now enter 13 and 1 values for the start point for axis of revolution as shown in Figure 8. |

| 7) After entering start point for axis of revolution you would prompted to enter endpoint of axis, 1 and 270 as shown in Figure 9. |

| 8) Then you would be asked to specify angle of revolution, enter 360 as shown in Figure 10. and press enter in key board or right click in your mouse. |

| 10) Now select ¡°Flat Shaded¡± from view menu as shown in Figure 12 and the resultant part would be as shown in Figure 13. |
