| This segment of tutorial exercise provides step by step instruction on creating a solid cone in AutoCAD. |
| 1) Open new AutoCAD session {Learn how a new session can be started by seeing this link} and click ¡°cone¡± tool from toolbar as shown in Figure 1 or go to draw menu at the top of the application window to select ¡°cone¡± as shown in Figure 2 or type ¡°cone¡± in command line as shown in Figure 3. |

| 2) After selecting ¡°Cone¡± tool you would be prompted to specify center point for base of cone, I have entered 0,0 and 0 as shown in figure 4, now press enter in key board. |

| 3) After entering center point for base of the cone you would be prompted to specify radius for base of cone, I have entered 20 as shown in Figure 5. After entering the values for radius press enter in the keyboard. |

| 4) After entering radius for base of the cone you would be prompted to specify height the of cone, I have entered 40 as shown in Figure 6. After specifying the height of the cone press enter in the key board. |

| 6) Now select ¡°Flat Shaded¡± from view menu as shown in Figure 8 and the resultant part would be as shown in Figure 9. |
