| 1) Select line icon as shown in Figure 1 or from Draw drop down menu as shown in Figure 2 or you can type "line" or just "l" in the command prompt as shown in Figure 3.{Click the link to learn how to open a AutoCAD session} |

| 2) Now move the cursor on the model space and click once to specify first point as shown in Figure 4 . |

| 4) After extending the line to what ever shape you want just RMB and select "Enter" as shown in Figure 6 or you can just press "Esc" in the keyboard. |
