    This step by step beginner¡¯s tutorial shows you how to set orientation to entire document or part of document in Microsoft Word 2007. Follow the steps as shown below: 
     
    1) To set orientation to entire document go to ¡°Page Layout¡± menu as shown in Figure 1 .

    2) Click ¡°Orientation¡± from page layout menu and a drop down list will appear as shown in Figure 2.

    3) If you want to set orientation to ¡°Portrait¡± click it and the document will be as shown in Figure 3.

    4) If you want the orientation to be set to ¡°Landscape¡± click it and the document will be as shown in figure 4.

    5) Till now we have learned how to change orientation for entire document now let us learn how to change orientation for a part of document. Let us open a three pages document, now let us select text in page two as shown in figure 5.

    6) Now let us go to ¡°Margins¡± sub menu in ¡°Page Layout¡± menu and select ¡°Custom Margins¡­¡± from the drop down list as shown in figure 6.

    7) When ¡°Page Setup¡± dialogue box appears set Orientation to landscape and select ¡°Selected text¡± from Apply to drop down list and click ok, as shown in figure 7.

    8) After changing the orientation for a part of document the document would be as shown in figure 8.
