In this tutorial i will be teaching you how to upload your site to your server to make it live using adobe/macromedia dreamweaver,i will assume that youve already defined your site,if not

Double click the circled area where it says the name of your site,in this case its purple fusion.

Once you have double clicked it you should be shown the following screen:

On the left hand side click the text that says remote info , this is where you will input the information given to you by your hosting provider.

When you click this link you will then be shown the page below where you will input the following data.

Access : Usually FTP

FTP host : this is usually ftp.yoursiteaddressgoeshere.com or the site adress itself www.yoursiteadressgoeshere.com

Host Directory :The folder your files should be uploaded to on the server,check this with your host .

Login : Your website login name,your host should of given you this

Password : Your website password,this should also of been given to you by your host.

Click test and it should show a success message if its all working,if not double check youve entered all the details correctly.

Now click ok,you should see the main dreamweaver splash page again,look at your files panel on the right hand side and click the blue up arrow which should say put when you roll your mouse over it.

Dreamweaver should then start transferring your files to the server and once complete you should be able to view your files when you type in your website adress ie www.purplefusion.co.uk.

Note:you will only see your homepage if it has the file name index(index.html,index.php)
