In this Microsoft FrontPage tutorial I will show you how to create square gradient bullets. Please see the image that I have provided to see the ending results of this tutorial. These bullets are real simple to make. Basically you draw the shape and apply a gradient. The color of the bullets will depend on the gradients that you select for them. Open your Microsoft FrontPage and we will get started.

How to Create Square Gradient Bullets in Microsoft FrontPage

The first step is to draw the square. We will draw the square using the auto shapes. Go to the top of your FrontPage window and click Insert > Picture > Auto Shapes. The auto shapes toolbar will appear on your page. Click on the Basic Shapes icon. That should be the second icon in the toolbar. Then click on the Square shape in the drop down box. Draw a small square on your page. Draw it the size that you want your bullet to be.

Next, we will apply a gradient to the bullet. Click on the bullet to select it. Then go to the bottom of the window and click the arrow beside the paint bucket. Click Fill Effects when the menu pops up. The fill effects box will pop up and this is where you will apply the gradient effect. Click on the Gradient Tab in the box if you are not in the Gradient Section. This step is totally up to you. You can use any colors that you want. To get the gradient effect that I got in my example, you will need to select the From Corner Shading style and then click the bottom left variant. After you have selected the colors that you want, click OK on the box to apply the gradient effect.

Next, you will need to apply a border to the square bullet. A border will make it look better. Click on the bullet to select it. Then click the arrow beside the paint brush and select the color border that you want.

That is how you create the square bullets in Microsoft FrontPage. You can create more bullets just like the one that you created. Right click on the bullet that you just created and click Copy. Then right click on the page and click Paste. Grab the bullet that you just pasted with your mouse and move it to where you want it. Repeat this step to create as many bullets as you need. You can change the colors by opening the fill effects box again.
