After reading this tutorial you will be able to create your very own glitz/bling text!
1>>> The first thing we will do is create a new document of any size, I'm using 480 x 640.
2>>> Type your text with the text tool. Right click > Rasterize Type. Select the text by holding down control & clicking on the layer thumbnial in the layers palette.
3>>> Go to Filter> Render> Clouds.
4>>> Go to Filter > Distort > Glass. Use the settings like mine:
5>>> Now we add the gold effect. Go to Layer > Layer Style > Layer Blending options. Select stroke and add these settings:
Then go to Bevel & Emboss and apply these settings:
Make sure you have Stroke Emboss selected in the Layer Style section
6>>> Now to color the text outline with gold. Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation. Click Ok on the box that appears. Then use these settings:
7>>> Add a background to your text by creating a new layer underneath the text layers. Color it with solid color, or with a gradient like I have done.
8>>> Now we make our text effect extra glitzy and sparkly. Create a new layer above all the others. Select the Brush tool & select the no. 50 brush that looks like a star. Choose a color of white. Now just add some sparkles by clicking where you want them!
